Jesus heals the man who had been blind since birth, and it shook things up! Their world view was that his blindness was caused by someone's sinfulness--his, or the man's parents.  It's a human tendency...to figure out whose fault any problem is, and who to blame.  Jesus rocks their world by suggesting the wrongs that are present and happen in this world are perhaps not the fault of anyone--that's the wrong question! Jesus would have us keep our eyes open for what God is up to, and what God might do next.  The healing of a blind man?  Just one more occasion for God to demonstrate power, might, authority, and wellness in all who will have it.  And anyone who can't see that, Jesus pronounces them "blind"!
