Advent - from the Latin term 'adventum' means coming or what I like, "Arrival!" Jesus, the Holy One of God was coming into the world and we celebrate that during the Advent Season. But of course, Jesus has come into the world, so we also celebrate Him not only as the One who came, but as "The Coming One" who continues to come into our lives.
